Moses Robinson has been a professional photographer since 1990, with clients in the entertainment, corporate, sports and political arenas. He is the President and CEO of OPM Photography, a company that has over the past 18 years shown tremendous growth and versatility.
Moses was influenced by his father who gave him a camera at the age of 13. Given to him to occupy his time, taking pictures of family and friends, he found that through his lens he could tell a story without picking up a pen. After teaching one year of Graphic Arts and Photography at his High School Alma Mata, Lincoln High school in Jersey City, Moses moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he discovered his passion for taking unexpected and deep, unrehearsed pictures of his subjects.
Moses’ work has been featured in Billboard, Jet, People, Wire Image/Getty Images, The New York Times and many other publications. His work is also featured in “I’m a father” by David Manuel and the upcoming and highly anticipated “I’m a mother” and “I’m and Athlete.”
The purpose of OPM Photography is to take beautiful pictures that embody the true storyteller. Moses has been linked and featured with the following companies: Coca Cola, National Black Arts Festival, Delta Airlines, Balser Companies, NAACP, UNCF, General Motors, EM Designs, Trumpet Awards, Stellar Awards, Philips Arena, Tyler Perry Studios, ARRP Marketing, Central City Production, Radio One, Virgin Records, Sony Records, Cox Radio, Black Star Publishing Co., Columbia Records, Def Jam Records and The Recording Company in Atlanta.
Moses has built a report with his local clients and has been asked to come back year after year to their events. Radio One has enlisted his talents for their Hot 107.9 Birthday bash for the last ten years. He has also been asked to judge the NAACP High School art in Photography competition 3 years in a row. The UNCF Mayor’s Ball is another yearly function that Moses has been a part of for the last 8 years, as well as V103’s For Sisters Only (FSO) going on 8 years. (a CBS Radio company.)
In 2009 Moses is looking to open an exhibit of his work called “Story Telling: Without a Shadow of a doubt “photographs that display a unique and brilliant display of all the years of work and commitment. After countless weddings, Bar mitzvahs, sporting events and concerts, Moses has proven himself to be a dynamic photographer that looks at every opportunity to tell his story from behind his camera lens. Since the beginning of his career there are two quotes that he tells all of his subjects, “Every shot counts” and “Now smile I will make you famous.”
